Gone by Lisa McMann

Janie thought she knew what her future held. And she thought she'd made her peace with it. But she can't handle dragging Cabel down with her.

She knows he will stay with her, despite what she sees in his dreams. He's amazing. And she's a train wreck. Janie sees only one way to give him the life he deserves--she has to disappear. And it's going to kill them both.
Then a stranger enters her life--and everything unravels. The future Janie once faced now has an ominous twist, and her choices are more dire than she'd ever thought possible. She alone must decide between the lesser of two evils. And time is running out...

I have loved every book Lisa has written! Gone was a perfect ending to Wake and Fade. I had always wondered if eventually in her dreams she would see the man who was her father! If you read Wake and Fade you have to read this. Cabel is like the dream man, he is there no matter what for Janie and is always comforting to her. He is like my favorite! Although sometimes Janie turns people away, she never had people care that much about her. She always questions whether to be alone or not. Sometime I feel like her, like her mom dosent say one word to her at all. Then at another moment shes actually talking to Janie. It didnt end at all like I thought it was going to be ending! It was way way better! Its a perfect ending to this amazing series!

The Secret Year by Jennifer R. Hubbard

Seventeen-year-old Colt has been sneaking out at night to meet Julia, a girl from an upper-class neighborhood unlike his own. They’ve never told anyone else about their relationship: not their family or friends, and especially not Julia’s boyfriend. When Julia dies suddenly, Colt tries to cope with her death while pretending that he never even knew her. He discovers a journal she left behind. But he is not prepared for the truths he discovers about their intense relationship, nor to pay the price for the secrets he’s kept.

I really liked  this book! Like i wanted Colt to be with every girl! It seems there is always a comparison amongst people. Like the Black Mountain people and the Flats. Its a rivalry. And someone always steps over the boundries and dates another.  Colt was trying to forget about Julia and then yet he wanted to know what exactly happened. People would never believe that he and Julia were together. It seems like everyone has a journal full of things that they want to do but somehow they cant find themselves to do it. I really enjoyed reading this book. It keeps you wanting more! Love the title. and the sub title. because nothing stays secret forever!
